Recent leaks have revealed further details about the next flagship model of Xiaomi, the Xiaomi 15Ultra, with particular attention to improving photographic features.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra to Have 200MP Periscope Camera (Leak)

According to information leaked by international bloggers, the 15 Ultra will introduce a major upgrade in the main camera. This will be equipped with a Large 1-inch sensor with f/1.63 aperture. While it may no longer support variable aperture, the advantages of the large sensor and large aperture promise excellent low-light performance.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be equipped with a 50MP short-range zoom camera, which will support one 3.2x optical zoom like its predecessor. The real novelty is the presence of a fCamera with 200MP periscope and 4.3x zoom. This is Xiaomi's first ultra-pixel periscope lens, which can meet users' needs for long-distance shooting.
As for the display, the 15 Ultra will retain the same setup as the screen of the 14 Ultra, with a 6,73-inch display, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a high resolution of 1440×3200. This ensures a smooth and detailed visual experience, ideal for everyday use and multimedia consumption.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also see improvements in protection performance, supporting the levels of IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance. Wireless charging will also be included.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra battery specifications indicate a capacity between 5450mAh and 5800mAh. While it may seem a bit smaller than the 6000mAh batteries found in some competing products, this could be due to the need to make room for a more advanced camera system inside the new phone. Xiaomi may also want to keep the device slim.
The 15 Ultra is expected to be available to consumers in January 2025, at least in the Asian country.
