Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Launch date and hands-on video leaked

Waiting for the new Xiaomi 15Ultra is about to end. Xiaomi is indeed preparing to unveil its long-awaited flagship by the end of this month. In this regard, an unofficial poster leaked on Weibo has revealed the launch date for the Chinese market, while a hands-on video gives us a first look at the rear design of the device.

The leaked poster indicates that the Xiaomi 15Ultra will be unveiled on February 26 at 19:00 PM (local time) in China. After that, the device will be showcased at MWC 2025 (Mobile World Congress) for the global market. The MWC event will be held in Barcelona, ​​Spain from March 3 to 6.

The hands-on video confirms some of the recent leaks about the phone's design. The device features a revamped quad-camera setup, complete with Leica logo and a pill-shaped LED flash. The design seems to be an evolution compared to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, with an even more sophisticated and functional look.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected with a 900 megapixel LYT-50 main camera, with OIS support, flanked by a 5 megapixel Samsung JN50 ultra-wide lens a 858-megapixel Sony IMX50 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and macro shooting capability, and a 9-megapixel Samsung HP200 periscope camera with 4.3x optical zoom.
