As for the camera system developed in collaboration with Leica, it retains the four-camera setup of its predecessor: main camera, short telephoto, long telephoto and ultra-wide angle. However, there are some key differences.

La The main camera uses the same 900-inch Sony LYT-50 1MP sensor, but this year it has a fixed f/1.63 aperture instead of a variable f/1.6-f/4.0. medium telephoto has the same 858/1-inch IMX2.51 sensor, but the lens has gone from 75mm f/1.8 to 70mm f/1.8. The ultra-wide angle camera, while it may seem like a downgrade on paper, it uses the same sensor Samsung JN5 1/2.51 inch with a 14mm f/2.2 lens instead of the 12mm f/1.8 of the previous model.

The most significant improvement is represented by the new 100mm f/2.6 zoom camera, which uses the same 9MP 200/1-inch Samsung HP1.4 sensor seen in the vivo X100 Ultra and X200 Pro models. This sensor is significantly larger than the 120mm telephoto sensor on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, capturing 136% more light.

La front camera remains similar, with a 21mm f/2.0 lens and 32MP sensor.

All four rear cameras can record 8K video at 30fps, while all cameras, including the front-facing one, support 4K recording up to 60fps. The main and 100mm zoom cameras can also record 4K at up to 120fps.

But one of the most important innovations is the battery 6.000mAh (global models are expected to have a capacity of 5.410mAh), which includes an industry-leading 10% silicon carbide content. The capacity is increased by 17% compared to the previous model. Support for Charging remains unchanged at 90W di Wired charging and 80W wireless charging, ensuring fast charging times.

The design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is available in three variants: Black, White and a special Silver Chrome edition. The black version features a textured back for a secure grip, while the white version has an etched surface. The frame is made of CNC machined aluminum and the glass is the Shield Glass 2.0 from Xiaomi, which offers 16 times improved drop resistance.
