Here's a preview of the Xiaomi 15S Pro: the first with a proprietary XRING 01 SoC | Photos

Xiaomi returns to the forefront with the announcement of xiaomi 15s pro, the new top-of-the-range smartphone that introduces a new element to the mobile landscape: the Xiaomi XRING O3 1-nanometer proprietary chip, with specifications and mind blowing performance. The first official images reveal a familiar design, but with details that do not go unnoticed.

The heart of the novelty as we know is the XRING O1 SoC, developed internally and produced with 3nm technology. A significant technological leap, not only for theenergy efficiency and the computational power it promises, but for the strategic implications it brings with it.

Xiaomi chooses to move away from external suppliers like Qualcomm, marking a significant step change. The choice to equip oneself with a custom processor allows for greater control over the hardware design, and opens up new possibilities in terms of optimization and costs.

This new approach is also reflected in the design of the device, which takes up the lines of the Xiaomi 15S Pro but changes some details: the LED flash adopts a different shape and the rear finish, in carbon fiber, underlines a more sporty and technical identity. A choice that is not only aesthetic: lightness and dissipation thermal can benefit substantially from it.

On the photographic side, the company Leica is now a guarantee of ambition. Even if the complete specifications are not yet known, it is reasonable to expect true flagship performance, in line with the standards of the collaboration between the two companiesThe main sensor, image processing and color rendering will be given special attention at the official presentation.

One detail, however, remains unresolved: the and security global. On May 22, Xiaomi will officially present the 15S Pro in China. It remains to be seen whether the company will also want to export its new processor to Western markets, or if this is an initial testing phase on the Chinese public.
