Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new series of smartphones designed to combine high performance and an affordable price: the Xiaomi 15T series. With the first previews emerging from the HyperOS 2.1 firmware, we have a taste of the features that will make the models Xiaomi 15t e Xiaomi 15t pro interesting options for those looking for premium performance at competitive prices.
Xiaomi 15T Series: First info on the series leaked

Xiaomi has continued its tradition of assigning artist-inspired codenames to its T-series devices. The Xiaomi 15T model is internally nicknamed “klimt,” in honor of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, while the 15T Pro is associated with the name “turner,” a reference to British artist JMW Turner. These names were discovered within the HyperOS 2.1 firmware.
An intriguing detail is that the “turner” codename is also shared with the Redmi K80 Ultra, suggesting that the two devices will feature very similar hardware and software specifications. However, there will be significant differences, mainly in the camera department, to distinguish the two product lines.
According to the leaked information, the following model numbers have been identified:
- Redmi K80 Ultra (China) – 25060RK16C
- Xiaomi 15T Pro (Global) – 2506BPN68G
- Xiaomi 15T Pro (Japan) – 2506BPN68R
- Xiaomi 15T (Global) – 25069PTEBG
These codes confirm that the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro models will be released in global markets. However, as with the previous T series, they are unlikely to arrive in India, where Xiaomi seems to prefer other smartphone lines. The focus is therefore on other international markets.

As per tradition, the Xiaomi 15T series aims to offer excellent performance at a competitive price. The Xiaomi 15T is expected to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor, designed to ensure exceptional fluidity in both gaming and daily multitasking. While the Xiaomi 15T Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, a high-end processor that promises speed and efficiency without compromise, perfect for demanding users.
Xiaomi has a habit of launching its T series alongside its foldable models, and this year too, the debut of the Xiaomi 15T series is expected to coincide with the launch of the MIX Flip 2. If the company sticks to its traditional pattern, the official launch is expected to take place in September 2025.
