After its debut in China last September, the Xiaomi 17 is preparing to conquer the international market. The latest rumors confirm that the Chinese manufacturer's new flagship has been spotted on an official database, signaling that the global launch is just around the corner.
Xiaomi 17: Certified and Ready for Launch Outside China

The device has been registered with the NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) in Thailand with the model number 25113PN0EG. While the certification doesn't reveal specifics about the specifications or release date, it officially confirms the name "Xiaomi 17" and its availability in the Thai market. This step is a clear sign that international distribution is imminent.
Meanwhile, a new listing on GeekBench has revealed further technical details. The Xiaomi 17 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the latest high-end chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM. This is the same base configuration already seen in the Chinese version, confirming that Xiaomi has no intention of reducing performance for the global market.
The device will ship with Android 16 and the new HyperOS 3 interface, which integrates advanced artificial intelligence features. Benchmarks have highlighted specific tests of the device's AI capabilities, a sign that Xiaomi is focusing heavily on intelligent processing to improve the daily user experience.
While the standard model is preparing for its debut, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series is already testing the HyperOS 3.0.34.0 build, which introduces a new interactive wallpaper called Sugar Cube for the secondary display.
There is also no shortage of rumors about the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, expected with pre-orders starting from December 15, 2025, and about the special Xiaomi 17 Leica Lietzphone Edition, which could arrive in Europe with a focus on professional photography.
Certification in Thailand and leaked benchmarks are clear signs that the international launch of the Xiaomi 17 is imminent. While Xiaomi hasn't announced an official date yet, the rollout is likely to begin within a few weeks, with availability in more European and Asian markets.
The price has not yet been confirmed, but considering the premium range and the technical specifications, a competitive positioning is expected around (€699 – €749) for the basic 12GB + 256GB version.
