Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max: Here's how much the battery, display, and cameras cost.

Let's start with the Xiaomi 17 Pro, the compact yet powerful model. The basic components are surprisingly affordable: the battery costs 199 yuan (about €26), the charger 55 yuan (about €7), and the data cable only 19 yuan (about €2,50). The speakers are also affordable: 15 yuan (€2) for the top one and 25 yuan (€3,30) for the bottom one.
Cameras, on the other hand, are starting to rise in price. The ultra-wide module costs 80 yuan (€10,50), the periscope telephoto lens 245 yuan (€32), while the main wide-angle camera reaches 450 yuan (€59). The front-facing camera is among the cheapest, at 65 yuan (€8,50).
The most expensive components are the motherboard and the OLED display. The main panel costs 990 yuan (€130), while the glass back is listed at 425 yuan (€56). The motherboard varies depending on the configuration: from 2.730 yuan (€360) for the 12GB+256GB version up to 3.190 yuan (€420) for the top-end 16GB+1TB variant.
Moving on to the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, prices increase slightly. The OLED display costs 1.050 yuan (€138), while the rear battery cover goes up to 495 yuan (€65). The wide-angle camera is slightly cheaper than the Pro, at 435 yuan (€57), but the periscope telephoto lens is more expensive at 350 yuan (€46). The motherboard starts at 2.990 yuan (€395) and goes up to 3.450 yuan (€455) for the 16GB+1TB configuration.
These prices demonstrate Xiaomi's clear strategy: keeping the costs of essential components and accessories low, while the more sophisticated parts, such as displays, cameras, and motherboards, reflect the devices' technological level. This transparency can help users better evaluate long-term maintenance.
