The next flagship of Xiaomi, the Xiaomi 17Ultra, continues to generate buzz. After weeks of rumors, the device has obtained 3C certification in China, confirming some of its most anticipated features. The model will be available in two variants, a standard one and one with dual satellite connectivity, which will support both Tiantong-1 calls and BeiDou messaging, two Chinese satellite services designed for communications in areas without terrestrial coverage.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Certified: 100W Charging and 200MP Camera
3C certification has revealed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will support 100W wired charging, an improvement over the 90W of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This upgrade will be especially useful considering that the device is expected to pack a large battery, likely larger than the 7.500mAh already seen on the 17 Pro Max.
Both variants of the 17 Ultra have also passed Chinese radio certification, confirming support for UWB (Ultra-Wideband) technology. This feature enables precise and seamless connection between devices, useful for applications such as remote car unlocking, indoor location tracking, and interaction with the HyperOS ecosystem.
As is tradition with the Ultra line, the camera department will be one of the strong points. According to leaks, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature four sensors:
- Main: Omnivision OV50X 50MP with 1-inch sensor
- Ultra-wide: 50MP Samsung JN5
- Telephoto: Samsung JN5 50MP
- Periscope: ISOCELL HP5 200MP
This configuration promises versatility and high quality, with advanced optical zoom and excellent performance in variable lighting conditions.
On the front, the device could feature a 6,85-inch LTPO OLED display with 2K resolution and ultra-thin bezels, narrower than even those of the iPhone. Powering it all will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm's most powerful chip, paired with an IP rating for water and dust resistance.
With these specifications, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is preparing to become one of the most complete and ambitious flagships of 2026, combining performance, photography, battery life and advanced connectivity.
