So today we are talking about the Xiaomi 70Mai Smart Car DVR 2, which is an updated version of the Dash Cam for cars that we have already known in the past, so popular that it is also possible to find it on the Amazon store. The main new feature of the new processor, is a HiSilicon Hi3556V200, which allows a considerable saving in terms of data storage, thanks to a decidedly more powerful image compression technology, able to reduce the weight of the original 30% file.

We also find a low-power OmniVision sensor with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, with the possibility of recording videos in Full HD, with a better definition than the previous generation, as it can count on a focal length of f/ 1.8 and a wide angle of 140 degrees, translating what was recorded into excellent content even in low light conditions with an almost complete overview of the road. The DVR goes into sleep mode while the car is parked, but the G sensor will constantly monitor the car. If a collision occurs during parking, the recorder will automatically turn on and start recording.
Through the integrated WiFi module it is possible to connect from the 70Mai Dash Cam to the dedicated smartphone application, enjoying real-time transmission of what is captured by the camera lens, although it is not advisable to use this mode while driving. In the event of an accidental impact, the data relating to the event will be protected from writing and deletion. At the moment it is not available a certain date about the marketing of the new 70Mai Dash Cam but the sale price should be around 39 euros.
