The world of wearable gadgets is increasingly growing and offers, on a par with that of smartphones, considerable price and functionality ranges linked to it, including making a choice. Xiaomi from the beginning in this market has proposed the small fitness tracker Mi Band now arrived at the third generation (fourth if we consider the 1S) while con the sub brand AmazFit has been able to bring out the best of itself in all price ranges, but always confirming the excellent quality / price ratio. Moreover, it is recent news that also AmazFit in the footsteps of Xiaomi, is preparing to officially land in Italy, but apart from this parenthesis the company of Lei Jun seems to be at work for the release of a new wearable.
The colleagues of the blog AndroidTR, already known for having unveiled a preview of the features of the Mi Band 3 or a navigable menu by means of swipe, have unearthed another news within the Mi Fit application code. A mysterious wearable named Xiaomi Blue Monkey, in fact it appears in a sudden way even if the technical characteristics of the product do not emerge, with the exception that the gadet will naturally be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity.
Xiaomi working on a new wearable named Blue Monkey
The screenshots published by AndroidTR colleagues seem to refer to the possible design of this Xiaomi Blue Monkey, while the source code of the Mi Fit app seems to provide some more details. Please note that the name Blue Monkey refers to the code name of the product and not to the final one that will certainly be different. That said, the strings that appear in the different screenshots do reference to some Bluetooth pairing errors between the device and the application, a process that should take place similar to what is already used with the Mi Band.
One thing, however, is reported in a bully manner, namely that in the last line of the code appears the word shirtas if the new gadget Blue Monkey binds its smart functionality to the combination with clothing. When we talk about Xiaomi, anything can happen but of course this is only a hypothesis, interesting but still a hypothesis. And what do you think?
