Continue the rise of Xiaomi: the Chinese brand is confirmed as one of the healthiest tech companies, as certified by the data for this first quarter of 2021. Analysts' expectations have been greatly exceeded: currently the company has a 12 billions of dollars turnover, with net profits rising to $ 950 million.
Xiaomi has picked up the baton from Huawei
Xiaomi, together with Oppo, has picked up the baton of Huawei, once a leader in the sector. And the good news didn't end there: Xiaomi was recently removed from the US black list. However, the figures are dizzying: worldwide, the company shipped 49,4 million units, for a growth of 69,1% on an annual basis.
The highest growth was found in Europe, with a + 85,1% on an annual basis (second for volume of units shipped). Xiaomi's core business remains the smartphone sector: about 2/3 of the total turnover comes from the various Mi, Redmi, Poco and Black Shark.
But Xiaomi does not intend to stop there: the leaders have already declared that they want to double the number of physical stores (thus passing from the current 5 thousand to 10 thousand) and that it plans to increase investments in online sales in the Indian market, one of the most important for the company.
