Xiaomi and turnover targets for the 2018

The 2017 has been a particularly busy year for Xiaomi but above all prosperous in terms of turnover, in fact the Chinese company has beaten its turnover target of 100 billion yuan ($ 15,8 billion) before the end of the year as stated by Wang Xiang, Vice Senior Presenteur and head of the international business of the technological giant, to CNBC cameras.

Apparently the goal was successfully achieved in October and then prosper in the months to come. Wang Xiang did not specify what the real revenue of last year has been and has not been unbalanced even on what goal for the 2018 the company will undertake, but the optimistic tone in the interview occurred before the start of the MWC in Barcelona does not leave doubts about the fact that Xiaomi for 2018 intends to do much more than 100 billion yuan, considering that in the 2016 for the Chinese OEM it was a difficult period and this turnover turnaround can only be improved.

Xiaomi

Xiaomi has often been compared to Steve Jobs' company, so much so that it has been nicknamed the Apple of the East, but we fans and lovers of the brand know very well that fortunately the two technological companies have well poco in common. For example Xiaomi began his "career" by offering high quality smartphones at prices significantly lower than the competition, finding obstacles only in the 2016 because of the low-cost rivalry on the Chinese territory by Oppo and Vivo.

AFTER A PERIOD OF CRISIS XIAOMI HAS COLLECTED THE DESIRED SUCCESSES THANKS TO THE COMMITMENT AND LOVE TOWARDS THE PRODUCTS OFFERED

The CEO Lei Jun also admitted that the company has grown "too quickly" but this did not prevent us from making "essential adjustments" to its activity in order to grow healthy in the future. Xiaomi closed the fourth quarter of the 2017 becoming the fourth smartphone manufacturer for market share and even the sales of its devices have grown in counter-trend to the global market, which has undergone inflation for the first time in history.

Xiaomi

The Chinese electronics giant, who it is estimated to have a value of about 46 billion dollars, is expanding its print also outside of China. Saturday opened his third physical store in Spain, to help strengthen its presence in Western Europe and is starting stores in other key markets, including India but soon it is also expected in Italy. The company's fortune is also linked to products not belonging to the smartphone category, products that often turn out to be a cheaper alternative, but just as functional as present on the market, such as the speaker with artificial intelligence that collides directly with Amazon Echo, but also televisions, drones, TV Box and much more that helps to diversify the business of Xiaomi.

Xiaomi

Xiaomi is also preparing to become a public company this year and hired Citic Securities, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as joint sponsors for its initial public offering (IPO). The Thomson Reuters publication published by IFR in January stated that the IPO could estimate Xiaomi around 100 billion dollarsbut Wang Xiang refused to comment on the report.

Nerd, Geek, Netizen, terms that do not belong to me. Simply myself, technology lover and provocative as Xiaomi does with his products. High quality at fair prices, a real provocation for the other most famous brands.
