The Black Shark sub-brand, born from a rib of Xiaomi, has just announced a new variant of the latest gaming phone presented a few months ago. The Black Shark 2 Pro is now available in Streamer Purple, which is a new and very attractive purple color.
Black Shark 2 Pro Purple Streamer presented in China
The smartphone will go on sale day 1 November in China at a price not yet revealed, although it is expected to cost as much as the other variants with the same amount of RAM and internal memory. Specifically, we will have 12GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage (therefore the fastest on the market).
So the only difference compared to the other variants would seem to be the coloring of the entire metal chassis now in purple with blue accents. Moreover it is no coincidence that the new color is called "Purple Streamer", as it reminds us of the colors of Twitch, a well-known video game streaming platform that uses the same color. So Black Shark seems to want to win the share of gaming enthusiasts with the desire to share their online gaming experience.
As we said earlier, all other specifications remain unchanged, so we find an 6,39-inch AMOLED display with DC dimming technology and produced by Samsung. Then we have the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus as a processor and a liquid cooling system that allows us to play for long sessions without overheating the smartphone.
In the long run we will also have the autonomy thanks to the large 4000mAh battery that can be recharged quickly thanks to the fast 27W charging.
Finally, from the photographic point of view, the Black Shark 2 Pro Streamer Purple equips a sensor from 48MP (the Sony IMX586) coupled with an 12MP camera with 2x optical zoom (up to 10x via software). While in front we find an 20MP sensor for high resolution selfies.
