To end the long day of ads from Redmi, we have another very much awaited device released by another Xiaomi sub-brand, let's talk about the Black Shark 2. As expected, the smartphone equips all the necessary hardware to make it the best gaming phone on the market and all at a very low price. Taking this into account, let's go now to contemplate the specifications of the device!
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 comes with one of the most original looks we've seen in recent years. On the back we find a design that is very reminiscent of racing cars, with a raised section in the center where the cooling system is positioned "3.0 liquid cooling". As for the materials instead, we have some parts in glass and others in metal. Finally, as you can see in the gif below, an LED light manages to make the complete circle of the perimeter, for a truly captivating effect.
Where we do not find anything in particular is instead ahead. The Black Shark 2 has in fact edges above and below, therefore no notch or perforated screen with integrated camera. That said, many people might prefer the more symmetrical design that also allows them to hold the device without touching the screen unintentionally.
Since we are already talking about the screen, you will be pleased to know that the gaming phone has a display from 6,39 inches with AMOLED technology, support for HDR content and a dedicated chip that takes care of reducing brightness in a smarter way, to make eyes less tired when playing in the dark. In addition we also have the fingerprint sensor hidden under it.
Moving on to the hardware that will run any mobile game currently in circulation instead, we have the most powerful processor on the market, or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 assisted by 6GB to 12GB of RAM and from 128GB to 256GB of internal memory of type UFS 2.1, therefore ultra-fast.
From a photographic point of view, the Black Shark 2 should please everyone with a sensor from 48MP Sony IMX586 paired with a camera from 12 SM with 2x optical zoom (up to 10x via software). While in front we find a sensor from 20MP for selfies high resolution.
Other interesting features include the two front speakers for stereo sound, a special mode to increase performance during gaming sessions and a screen pressure sensor who can pick up two strong pressures in the two halves of the display and then configure them as in-game buttons.
Xiaomi's gaming phone comes in three colors: dark night, fantasy blue, frozen silver, with a large battery from 4000mAh with support for fast charging a 27w and runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
