It was late December when Xiaomi launched its "Chromecast" in China together with MIUI 13 and the latest series of XNUMXth generation flagship smartphones. To date, however, nothing is known about their arrival in Europe and Italy. In fact, the market for this type of product is not very fruitful and many users can do without it. There is a slice of enthusiasts, however, who drool for one dongle of Xiaomi and, just for them, we could have one good news. According to what we discovered on a European certification portal, the Chromecast-like should arrive in Europe. Let's see the details.
Xiaomi could launch its version of the Chromecast PaiPai also in Europe and to suggest it is a certification. How many are waiting for him?
Within a European portal where we usually find certifications regarding products arriving in Italy, we have discovered Tap to Cast (P03M8), or the dongle of Xiaomi that it should "Replace" Google's Chromecast and in a certain sense enhance the services of the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick. Recall that in China this product is called Pai Pai and was initially presented in white only. In the image inside the certification instead, we find it black together with the Stick that should accompany it. But let's see how it is done and what yours are technical.
Tap to Cast from Xiaomi is intended for display mirroring only computer on an external display. It can be connected to TVs, monitors, projectors and other proprietary and non-proprietary devices. A feature of the new version is support for the 4K resolution to 30 fps. The previous version, on the other hand, supported the display of images with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 60 fps. Higher framerate, but at a lower image quality than now.
This device it is nothing more than a multimedia adapter which, unlike other devices, turns out to be very useful for old TVs. In a nutshell, the ultimate goal of the Chromecast is to transform any TV or monitor with a port or input HDMI in a Smart TV.
