Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro certified on 3C: here are the details

Lo Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro has recently been certified by the Chinese 3C body, marking another step towards the official launch of this long-awaited smartphone. Registered with the model number 25067PYE3C, the certification confirms that the device will support the quick charge to 67W. While the documentation doesn’t reveal any further details, other leaks provide a more complete picture of what we can expect.

According to the leaker Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will be powered by a new Qualcomm chipset not yet announced, identified by the model code SM8735. This chip is expected to be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, based on the advanced Arm v9 architecture. The leaked specifications indicate a pprocessor consisting of a 4 GHz Cortex-X3,21 core, three 720 GHz Cortex-A3,01 cores, two 720 GHz A2,80 cores, and two 720 GHz A2,02 efficiency coresAs for the GPU, it is said to be the Adreno 825, designed to offer better graphics capabilities, although Qualcomm has not yet officially confirmed these details.

Another interesting aspect of the Civi 5 Pro is the expected improvement in the battery, which should reach a capacity of 6000 mAh, a significant increase over the 4700 mAh of the previous model, the Civi 4 Pro. In terms of design, the device will maintain a slim profile, with a Estimated thickness around 7mm.

As for the photographic sector, the Civi 5 Pro could maintain the50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, already present in its predecessor. This suggests that Xiaomi intends to continue to focus on advanced photographic capabilities, making the device an attractive option for photography enthusiasts.

Regarding the launch, Xiaomi has yet to announce an official release date. However, the Civi 4 Pro debuted in March last year, making the launch of the new model long overdue. It is speculated that the official announcement of the Civi 5 Pro could come after the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset launch, which is expected in April.
