Xiaomi has expanded its Civi line with the official launch of the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, a device that is positioned in the high-end range with advanced specifications and a refined design. Although the attention of the event was focused on the xiaomi 15s pro and the proprietary chipset Xring O1, the Civi 5 Pro has still attracted a lot of interest thanks to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a powerful Leica camera setup, and a 6000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro boasts a 6,55-inch quad-curved OLED display, with 1.5K resolution, maximum brightness of 1400 nits, and 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and vibrant visual experience. The aesthetics of the device is strongly based on symmetry and texture, with a metal frame and a special limited edition called “Iced American”, which, according to Xiaomi, brings with it a light coffee fragrance.
Xiaomi continues its collaboration with Leica for the photography sector, equipping the Civi 5 Pro with a triple camera module on the back. The The 50MP main camera, with Summilux lens and OIS, is flanked by a floating 50MP telephoto lens (Samsung JN5) with 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide.
For selfie lovers, the device integrates a front camera from 50MP, improved with a technology described by Xiaomi as “super-transparent nano-prism”, capable of increasing light sensitivity by 25% compared to previous models, offering brighter and more detailed shots.
The Civi 5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which Xiaomi says offers performance increases of 31% for the CPU, 49% for the GPU and 44% for AI compared to the previous generation.
To manage memory we find LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring fast and responsive performance. To keep temperatures under control, Xiaomi has adopted a advanced cooling system called “three-dimensional convex ring cold pump”, optimizing heat dissipation during prolonged sessions of intense use.
Despite the battery 6000mAh, the Civi 5 Pro maintains a slim profile of only 7,45mm and a light weight of 184g, combining autonomy and design without compromise. The 67W fast charging pIt allows for very short charging times, improving ease of use.
Other features include dual stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, IR emitter and compatibility with LDAC/LHDC 5.0 audio codecs, offering an advanced multimedia experience.
Prices and availability
The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is offered in different configurations:
- 12GB + 256GB at 2.999 yuan (about 385 euros)
- 12GB + 512GB at 3.299 yuan (about 425 euros)
- 16GB + 512GB at 3.599 yuan (about 460 euros)
The device will be available in Nebula Purple, Sakura Pink, Black and White colorways, as well as the limited “Iced American” version, characterised by an exclusive design and a particular coffee fragrance.
Xiaomi also announced a partnership with Lancôme, with a “Night Color” special edition, which includes a gift box containing exclusive cosmetics to match the phone.
