According to Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi and head of the smartphone division, the Civi line is evolving from a simple design flagship to a lightweight and versatile device with high-end performance. The Civi 5 Pro, codenamed “Little 15” internally, is designed to offer an iPhone-like experience while maintaining its refined and modern aesthetic.

The device will be available in four elegant colors: purple, beige, white and black, offering users greater customization.

One of the most interesting aspects of the Civi 5 Pro is its photographic compartment, developed with the Leica Pure Optics system, enclosed in a circular module on the back. The information leaked from Digital Chat Station indicate an advanced configuration, with a 50MP main camera with f/1.63 aperture, an ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture and 15mm focal length, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 60mm focal length, ideal for detailed shots and high-quality zoom.

For selfies, Xiaomi has officially confirmed the presence of a 50MP front camera, ensuring sharp and detailed images, perfect for creators and mobile photography enthusiasts.

The Civi 5 Pro was recently spotted on Geekbench, confirming the adoption of the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a next-generation chipset designed to deliver high performance in multitasking and gaming. The list of specifications revealed the presence of 16GB of RAM, ensuring fluidity and responsiveness even in the most demanding operations.

On the software level, the device will be equipped with Android 15, offering an updated and optimized interface.

Another strong point of the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is its autonomy. According to 3C certifications, the device will support a quick charge to 67W, while rumours are talking about a battery above 6.000mAh, ensuring long sessions of use without the need for frequent recharging.

The Civi 5 Pro will feature a 6,55-inch quad-curved OLED display, with 1.5K resolution, improving visual quality and color rendering.

Some rumors indicate that the device could be rebranded as Xiaomi 15 Civi for the Indian market, while in China the price will be around 3000 yuan (about 390 euros).
