After seeing the new 11T series and the11 Lite NE 5G last week, Xiaomi China now seems ready to launch a new range in the Asian country as well.
Xiaomi Civi coming to China: will it be a rebrand of the Mi 11 Lite NE 5G?
As we can see in the screenshot above shared by a Chinese blogger, a device called Xiaomi Civi has just appeared on the Mi Store in C ina. The image shows us that the Xiaomi Civi will be launched at 14:00 (Chinese time zone) on September 27th. The text under the device name says, "A natural and beautiful technology conference," so we expect a very elegantly designed device. But what kind of device is it? Well, if we look at the packaging, this looks like the typical smartphone packaging, so this is the most credible hypothesis.
In the previous weeks, several leaks and certifications have suggested that the next Xiaomi CC11 should arrive in China soon. After seeing the new Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, it is very likely that the CC11 will be a rebrand of the already official smartphone in Italy. Clearly, after today's revelations, it is thought that what should have been the CC11 will instead come under the name of Xiaomi Civi.
Recall that the Xiaomi CC11 seen previously had its thin and light design as its greatest strength. Its weight was in fact only 157 grams.
Furthermore, its certification showed us that the smartphone uses a 6,55-inch OLED screen with an FHD + resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a body thickness of only 6,81 mm. The smartphone will then be powered by a 4150mAh compact battery.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G. A chipset built in TSMC's 6nm manufacturing process and uses an eight-core Kryo 670 architecture design. The highest frequency is 2,4 GHz and the CPU performance has increased by 40% compared to the previous generation.
