Finally today 27 February the enhanced version of the Xiaomi Notebook Air 13.3 inches, after a period spent in pre-order status, is available for purchase in the company's online and offline channels. The announcement is officially given by Xiaomi which brings the base price to 5999 yuan (about 771 euro at the exchange) respect the 5699 yuan related to presale.
Just like its predecessor, this laptop is supplied without a logo on the external surface thus allowing a personalization by the user while the MI mark is evident on the lower frame of the display.
The new Xiaomi notebook is available in the Deep Gray coloring combined with black keyboard and frames. It has one Thickness of only 14,8 mm (309,6 × 210,9 × 14,8 mm) e weighs only 1,3 kg, which makes portability great. It features one screen from 13,3 inches with resolution Full HD and frames reduced to 5,59 mm. This version of Xiaomi Notebook Air uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection while the viewing angle is very wide, equal to 170 degrees which guarantees excellent visibility thanks to the 80.1% screen-body ratio, as well as the opening of the hinge up to 135 degrees.

Regarding the hardware of the new Xiaomi notebook, the novelty lies in the adoption of the Intel Core i7-8550U eight-generation quad-core chips clocked up to 4.0 GHz with an improved yield of 40%, combined with 8 GB of RAM DDR4 from e SSD PCle from 256 GB. It also features a dedicated graphics card provided by NVIDIA GeForce MX150 model with 5GB DDR2 memory. 578Wh high-density battery for extended use time. USB-C interface, 2 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI interface, 3,5mm headphone jack and microphones are some of the interfaces available for connectivity.
