Succulent clues for the custom SoC that Xiaomi asked Samsung

Some time ago it was rumored that Xiaomi asked Samsung for a Exynos processor owner that can be integrated on their smartphones. Reality is a bit different. As we know, Samsung is not a company that produces only mobile devices, but also SoC for third parties. Even Qualcomm sometimes buys processors from the Korean company Snapdragon. Precisely for this reason, Lei Jun's brand seems to have turned to her for the production of a proprietary SoC. Today, new information has emerged about him.

Waiting for that Xiaomi is able to produce its very own processor, it seems that she turned to Samsung to produce one. The rumor of the collaboration has been around for some time but a few days ago, Korean sources they said that the two companies have spoken several times. Specifically, the technicians of Samsung LSI (wing of the company that deals with the production of processors) and Xiaomi have recently held 5 meetings to discuss what to do.

One of the things that came out of these meetings is about architecture processor in question. Xiaomi would have required Samsung to use a Cortex X2 as the main core. This core has not yet been spotted as it has not come out on the market. It was rumored that the MediaTek 2000 it could have been the first processor to integrate it, but until today we know nothing about it.

Going to reconstruct the information on the custom processor, this could be made up of others Core A78 and a Mali G79 GPU.
