Xiaomi is perhaps the only producer at 360 degrees, in the sense that it is not limited to the production of smartphones (product for which it is known and appreciated globally) but on balance it proposes directly and indirectly a series of gadgets that range from the wipes for cleaning gold pendant screens, ranging from baby diapers to anti-mosquito lamps. In short, just take a ride on the Xiaomi crowdfunding site to realize the countless solutions that the Chinese giant offers its users every day.
Unfortunately the purchase on this platform is allowed only to residents of China, who have so much appreciated the various products offered that Xiaomi has seen fit to start a business also in the field of Logistic Delivery, that is in the field of home deliveries. The service is called Xiaomi Express and corresponds to a real courier service with door-to-door delivery.
Xiaomi from today challenges Bartolini with the Xiaomi Express delivery service
Naturally, besides offering a service to its users, Xiaomi aims to excel in this sector, currently headed by SF Express. The business, however, on which Xiaomi is promoting its express delivery service seems to clash with the philosophy of the company, in fact Xiaomi Express does not seem to be the best choice in terms of prices. SF Express is still the most convenient choice for the end user, but Xiaomi is probably just waiting to refine its service and then drop the ace up its sleeve and show off a series of price packages dedicated to the most loyal customers.
As already specified, Xiaomi Express is currently a service reserved exclusively for its customers in China and most likely it is a service that we will never see in Europe. Personally I do not feel the need, but then again with Xiaomi is always the saying MAI DIRE MAI. Certainly the service could be extended to the Indian market, today one of the most profitable for Lei Jun's company.
