The new Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has just been presented, which does not add important new features in terms of functionality compared to the previous generation but is renewed in design and hardware. The only real news is the adoption of an NFC sensor that would allow payments, but the company has already stated at the presentation stage that the enhanced 3 Mi Band will arrive in September. Having said that many were waiting for the presence of an integrated GPS module, but if that were the company would have distorted the essence of the fitness tracker that for years has been offering completeness to sports in its simplicity even at the hardware level, in fact for real sportsmen, the company offers solutions like AmazFit Pace, Stratos or Bip.
And on this last model, the Chinese company seems to be working to present a new generation, the AmazFit Bip 2, at least judging from the development tests published by the blog AndroidTR, which he made public some screenshots related to the MiFit app code, where references are made to AmazFit Bip 2 and Mi Band 3. And if the reference to Mi Band 3 makes us suppose precisely to release the version with NFC, references to a new AmazFit Bip 2 turn on the hype for fans of the brand led by the company Huami.
Is Xiaomi working on AmazFit Bip 2?
From what reported, theAmazfit Bip 2 its name is in code Dongtinghu, and according to the source it should integrate a Sony GPS chip, accelerometer, compass and NFC, while at the level of sports functions do not seem to emerge big news, while it is not clear if there will be an internal memory like on the Pace and Stratos models.
