The news seems to be unbelievable because according to dul rumors the entire surface of the table supports fast wireless charging. Think of the commercial explosion that could have such a novelty, in fact we could see the Xiaomi / IKEA table in the various airports, cafes and public areas. Oh yes we could, but no.

In fact the news is clearly a fake as the images below show, as the IKEA table is one of the simplest sold by the furniture bazaar to which a do-it-yourself modification allows the integration of the wireless charger from 20 W which in China it costs only 99 yuan. In fact, armed with patience and special tools, the trick lies precisely in positioning the wireless charger at will on the surface of the table to see the "magic" shown in the video above.
An idea for DIY enthusiasts but which is less impressive than what the rumors wanted us to believe. In fact there are already tables with integrated wireless charging and, perhaps the only positive thing about this news is that it shows how to create an alternative solution to the expensive ones on the market with a minimum expense.
