Lo Xiaomi Hongmi 1S, the updated version of the device with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, was spotted with WCDMA support at the internal site of the Chinese certification body Teena.
Xiaomi from what he learns seems to have understood mistakes made in the recent past and seems to launch very soon the Hongmi 1S with WCDMA support. Xiaomi Hongmi 1S, launched a few weeks ago in CDMA for China Telecom, is the first Hongmi to run from a chip Mediatek one Qualcomm.
Today on the official website of the Chinese Teena, the Hongmi 1S in WCDMA version has been sighted. The phone is clearly the same as the original Hongmi with the same display from 4.7 HD inches 1280 × 720, size of 137.41 × 69.34 × 9.9 mm but with a new chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 from 1,6 Ghz which should further improve its performance.
The Xiaomi Hongmi 1S with WCDMA support would also be equipped with rear camera by 8 mega-pixels with opening F2.2, 1GB RAM, expandable memory and run ROM MIUI V5 based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
