We had coveted it and Xiaomi officially landed in Europe. By now it has been a while since the first step taken on the old continent but to animate the minds still thinks a news that puts further new hopes about the future of the Chinese company in Europe. Xiaomi has decided to place a research and development center in Tampere, Finland.
The choice of the Scandinavian country is not accidental, as about two years ago Nokia and Xiaomi signed a collaboration relating to the sharing of some patents between the two companies. Therefore, in order to improve this fruitful collaboration, the research and development company Xiaomi Finland Oy will be born, headed by David Arthur Felix, CEO of Xiaomi Finland, who will base the activities on the development of new technologies in terms of cameras, software and computer systems relating to telecommunication equipment.
Xiaomi inaugurates a research and development center in Finland while Redmi 7A debuts in Europe
Redmi 7A was presented in China almost two months ago but at present there is still no sign of an official launch in Italy nor even in Europe. Yet things are putting themselves positively for those looking for a great device, simple and reliable but above all economical. In fact the launch price in China was an equivalent of 70 euro which does not differ much from what has emerged in these days right on Amazon, net of price increases.
It is indeed possible to find the variant equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage expandable in blue and black at the price of 89,99 euro while we go up to 102,99 euro for the variant from 32 GB. List prices that time could smooth out by making Redmi 7A a real bargain, a smartphone to give to grandparents, a child who starts to put his hand on technology or simply as a second phone for work / vacation.
Our children are not satisfied with a low-end phone unfortunately.
