The work of the developer wing of Xiaomi. After having seen in the last period a whole new series of Features that will arrive in the Global ROM shortly, and which mainly concern changes at the system level, today we see a novelty that will change from an aesthetic point of view our updated device of MIUI 11. One of the most popular features of the latest MIUI updates is thereanimation of the charging effect of our smartphones. Well, with an upcoming update that will arrive, and which has already seen the light in the branch Chinese beta, the effect of this animation will also change.
A new charging effect will land on Xiaomi devices with the next MIUI 11 updates
Below are the images that show the charging effect of Xiaomi before and after the MIUI 11 update.
- Before the update
- After the update
As you can see, the concept of "energy flow" (as the source suggests) remains, but a change are the edges and the overall effect. While before the idea was that of a flow passing through a kind of tube, after this channel it will no longer exist, thus allowing a type of animation a little more abstract and dynamic. The changes will only affect this aspect as the Quick Charge and the percentage of charge of the device will remain in the same position and will keep the same font.
As said, this update has seen the light only in the beta branch of the Chinese ROMs. In particular the MIUI 20.3.16 China version 11 can already take advantage of this new feature. Obviously we do not know how long the functionality we are talking about will arrive on global devices: considering that this version is among the latest arrivals, it will take at least a couple of months before being able to use it directly.

The animation is very nice but it only lasts 15 seconds, then it automatically switches to the clock or the lock screen of the set theme.
Is there any way to extend the animation?
Thanks in advance to those who can answer 🙂
