Xiaomi works on her "Slofie" mode: slowmotion selfie

But as we said, our beloved brand is working on this mode and is the member to tell us XDA kacskrz, who has found code tests inside the MIUI that would suggest this feature, which allows to record videos of 1280 x 720 at 120 fps through the front camera.

As the developers note, it is not enough simply to "add" this mode at software level but above all it is necessary hardware support that allows you to hold this load, therefore a decent camera. As we know however, thanks to the acquisition of Meitu by Xiaomi, it might not be so difficult to reach this goal: in fact, Meitu was counted as the first power in Chinese photographic level as for smartphones and indeed, it was the brand most chosen by women who loved taking selfies. In addition to this, Lei Jun's company boasts excellent algorithms that allow you to optimize the shots.
But precisely because the Chinese giant is ahead of its time, the XDA team suggests that this slopie mode could even be implemented starting from Mi CC9 Pro, or the last smartphone coming out the 5 next November and which boasts one main rear camera from 108 megapixels. They suppose that if Xiaomi has managed to put this sensor on the back, it will have no difficulty in putting one as lending anteriorly. In our opinion, the times are not yet ripe, but above all there would be no time for developers MIUI to bring this feature to your smartphone right away.
