More and more users have now adopted curved monitors for their desktops, so it's no surprise that the first pendant light for curved screens was launched today. We refer to the LYMAX Curved Screen Hanging Lamp from now in crowdfunding on the Xiaomi Youpin platform at the price of 169 yuan (22 €) for the basic version and 299 yuan (39 €) for the Pro variant.
LYMAX Curved Screen Hanging Lamp in crowdfunding: the RGB lamp for curved monitors
The pendant light uses 100 Ra97 full spectrum LED lights to restore true color, no video flicker and protect your eyes from fatigue. It uses an asymmetrical surround projection, with the light hitting the desktop contouring the shape of the screen, but it does not illuminate the screen itself and it does not reflect light.
The lamp adopts an R1000 curvature (the smaller the number, the greater the curvature of the screen) and the body design has a length of 550 mm, so theoretically it is suitable for displays with different curvatures and thicknesses already on the market.
The LYMAX Curved Screen Hanging Lamp has an integrated ARM processor and is equipped with AGC automatic gain control, which can detect ambient sounds and recognize sound wave signals. The first 40 chips of the RGB lamp can be driven by the built-in algorithm to synchronize the ambient light with the rhythm of the audio.
The Pro version is also equipped with a 45mm mini remote control. The metal knob on the top of the remote control is connected wirelessly to the lamp body with a 2,4 GHz connection, so that both color temperature and brightness can be adjusted as desired. We then have a built-in 2450V CR3 lithium coin cell battery, for a battery life of over 1 year.
Finally, the top of the lamp adopts a three-button touch system, with the lamp tube and the Pro version bracket made of alloy (the whole lamp weighs more than 500 grams). In addition, the pendant light adopts a USB Type-C port and can be powered by connecting a computer or adapter with the supplied cable.
