Last evening we have placed orders on what will be Qualcomm's next flagship processor, Or the Snapdragon 875. It is (on paper) a SoC capable of rivaling on equal terms with the new one Bionic A14 iPhone 12. According to what has been revealed by numerous leakers, mainly Chinese, the processor will be an octa-core as usual but with much more performing cores than those of the predecessor 865. Specifically we will find a Cortex-X1 at 2.84 GHz, Followed by three Cortex-A78 at 2.42 GHz e four Cortex-A55 at 1.8 GHz. Until now it has all been “unofficial” but Geekbench seems to confirm the data, in addition to the fact that a Xiaomi could be the first to equip the SoC.
Will it be Mi 11? Will it be the Mi MIX 4? Will it be a Redmi K40? We don't know but Xiaomi M2012K11C will have a Snapdragon 875
There is no point trying to guess which device it is. It is undoubtedly a Xiaomi, but it is not known what model. There are those who say My 11, who Mi MIX 4 and who even mentions the next Redmi K40 which seems (without confirmation) to have appeared weeks ago on the 3C portal. In any case it seems that on Geekbench a device with codenamed M2012K11C and it seems that the next generation top-of-the-range processor has been confirmed. To say so it is Digital Chat Station.
Geekbench shows that the Xiaomi M2012K11C device has achieved 1105 points in single-core e 3512 points in multi-core, which were expected from a flagship device powered by Snapdragon 875. In addition to this the document (albeit unofficial, let's remember it) states that the device will arrive with 6 GB of RAM memory. Also, the same Digital Chat Station confirms that the code shows the Adreno GPU 660. Ultimately all the data we had with respect to the SoC in question have been confirmed. It is not possible to grasp other clues but one thing is certain: if a December Qualcomm will unveil the processor during the Qualcomm Tech Summit, then Lei Jun's brand intends to launch its first device equipped with this SoC a January o February.
