Xiaomi Magic will be supported by these smartphones: here is the list

Perhaps it was not so much sponsored by Xiaomi, the fact is that in the launch event of Xiaomi MI MIX 4 e MI 5 Pad there was also space for the presentation of Xiaomi Magic. What is it about? It is not a device, but of a standard for audio streaming, compatible only with some devices of the Chinese house. It has the function of interconnection with those devices that can integrate it, thus creating a network of terminals that can exchange the sound flow with each other without any problem.

We did not use the word "terminals" at random: Xiaomi Magic can in fact be used on many devices, including smartphones, tablets, speakers, headphones and other accessories that can play music. That said, let's find out in detail the list of Xiaomi devices that support this new software mode.

Here is Xiaomi Magic: how it works

Before you see the list in question, let us pause for a moment on the Xiaomi Magic operation. It is precisely a software that is based not on UWB connectivity (present on Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 and Mi Pad 5), but on that WiFi, more widespread. Basically it is able to connect all compatible devices connected to the same wireless internet network.

Specifically, once the music listening app (Spotify, YouTube etc.) has been started, a appropriate clickable button, where you can choose another device in which to direct the listening. So, with a simple click you can switch the song being played from the smartphone to the tablet, from the tablet to the headphones, etc. etc.

The key in question can be displayed both in the notification bar and on the lock screen, so that it can be reached in multiple ways. With Xiaomi Magic, however, there is another element to take into consideration: the possibility of synchronizing two devices, so as to recreate a stereophonic effect. On top of that, it also allows you to use some sort of Party mode, As up to 8 devices can be connected at the same time.

Via the control panel, various adjustments can be made, including volume adjustment and synchronization. In any case, there is never the danger that in the event of a call the sound flow of the other devices can be interrupted: Xiaomi Magic does not rely on Bluetooth technology.
