Xiaomi has launched a new product for the smartphone cooling category: the Magnetic Cooling Back Clip, now available in China on JD.com for 199 yuan (about 27 euros). The product is designed to keep devices cool even during intensive use, such as prolonged gaming or streaming sessions.

The Magnetic Cooling Back Clip features a custom semiconductor for cooling and a design of the Aluminum alloy directional air duct. With a 30W peak power a 7 blade high speed fan and a turbine air duct design, this device is built to maximize cooling efficiency. Additionally, the custom heatsink fins utilize a Aluminum extrusion technology and CNC, ensuring rapid and uniform cooling. Under normal conditions, can cool down to 0 degrees in just 25 seconds, while the freezing point temperature can reach -10°C.
The product introduces advanced algorithms for temperature control, includingPID temperature control algorithm for the cold surface and thetemperature tracking algorithm for hot surface. In AUTO mode, the device monitors the load temperature in real time, intelligently adjusting the TEC power to ensure maximum cooling capacity in extremely cold mode.
The Magnetic Cooling Back Clip follows the Xiaomi Alive design, with Silver and black colors and RGB lighting effects which include options like rainbow, breathing, flow and brightness. This not only adds a touch of style to the device but also enhances the visual experience while using it. The product also comes with NTC protection against overheating, which detects the temperatures of the cold and hot ends of the refrigeration chip in real time, prolonging its life.
One of the distinguishing features of the Magnetic Cooling Back Clip is its ability to unlock additional features through the Mi Home app. Users can view the temperature, adjust operating modes, control lighting effects, and set a delayed shutdown directly from the app, making the user experience even more customizable and convenient.
