Surely you will remember the recent leaks that anticipated the arrival of one new model called "medium" band We are 5C. To confirm the imminent marketing of this new Xiaomi, today peeps on Geekbench and AnTuTu, the scores of a mysterious model with code name Meri which corresponds very likely to the Mi 5C seen in the previous photos.
Starting from Geekbench, we add that Xiaomi Meri will have 3GB of RAM. Unfortunately, the chipset is not recognizable but we can still see that it will have a Octacore CPU with clock from 1.4ghz and the software will be based on Android 6.0. Geekbench tests have reached rather "anonymous" values: 758 for single core testing; by 3043 to 3105 for multi-core testing.
Su AnTuTu lo Xiaomi Meri has obtained results in line with those of Geekbench, that is 63.581, far below the 150k / 170k that the “others” of the Mi5 series showed off. From the AnTuTu tests, however, we learn some additional specifications: The display will be from 5,5 " (and not 5,1 "as initially feared) with a resolution of 1080 × 1920; there GPU will be a Mali-T864. The Chipset could be a Rockchip with 4 core Cortex-A53 with maximum clock from 2.2Ghz and other 4 core with 1.4Ghz maximum clock.
In short, yet another mid-range from Xiaomi is on the way, which, if the name is confirmed, has very little of the Mi5 and certainly won't stir up any excitement. We're expecting it a very low price or in any case a quality / price ratio in the style of Xiaomi.
The only relevant note of this story is the faint voice it suggests a possible adoption of the first proprietary SoC developed by Xiaomi itself. However, he does not miss his official debut and soon we will have more details about Xiaomi Meri. Keep following us!
