A few weeks ago we have seen the release of the latest flagship of our beloved brand, that is Xiaomi Mi 10 and the older brother Mi 10 Pro. While many have complained about the price high, accusing the company of "high treason" towards users, on the other side of software and hardware problems we are not experiencing. Big problems of course. But one exists: the one relating to dual SIM present in the Mi 10 China and absent in the Global version. It seems absurd this choice but Xiaomi has opted for a cart with one slot only. But if we told you that two SIM cards can be used on this terminal?
It is possible to use the dual SIM on Xiaomi Mi 10 Global making it in all respects a dual sim
Premises: first of all we want to reassure you since the process to turn a Xiaomi Mi 10 Global into dual SIM not represents great obstacles. On the other hand, however, we must be very careful because we will have to purchase a "non-original" piece to change. Yes, let's talk about the SIM trolley. It seems that the dual SIM problem concerns only the hardware side (if we can say so) and not the software one.
According to an author of XDA, the smartphone in Global version would recognize two default SIMs. The only thing that does not allow him to do so is the actual presence of only one SIM slot. Now, it is not clear whether all ROMs allow this recognition but the XDA member states that for him it applies with the Xiaomi.eu ROM. But in essence what is there to do? - mount a Xiaomi.eu ROM: to do this you need to unlock the bootloader of the smartphone, install a TWRP to restore e flash the .eu ROM (we remind you that this procedure, although we have described it in a very spartan way, could cause some damage if the user is a beginner. We therefore take no responsibility);
- purchase a dual slot compatible cart: just because the recognition of the dual SIM is only a problem caused by the trolley, just buy one with a dual entry (compatible) that can be found online for a few euros.

As anticipated, we are not sure how the second SIM works with another ROM such as the Stabile Global. If you would like to try buying only a trolley with dual SIM, let us know if it works. The procedure should apply to both the standard version and the Pro. Clearly we are relieved of any responsibility in the event of permanent damage to the housing or where something goes wrong in the ROM flash process.

Hi Fabio, the first requirement is to have an EU rom… as written in the first point.
Of course Gianluca, I just wanted to dispel any doubts about the Stable Global version that does not work but only the Global EU ROM. So Fabio, to tell the truth the situation is this: the warranty is not invalidated if you unlock the bootloader; it is invalidated only in case of ROOT and other modding operations. So technically if you unlock the bootloader you are covered, but if you have damage following the installation of a custom ROM (like the EU), you may have problems.
After trying the procedure, can you possibly restore the phone to its initial conditions? What about the guarantee then?

Tried it on my official global MI 10 Pro, it has got only one IMEI code. The dualsim slot fits, but only SIM1 (the outside one) works. Didn't flash it, not going to.

really nos outros aparelhos por exemplo meu ex poco f2 pro was assim, agora no mi 10 nao, voice pode deixar or 5g eo segundo sim ativo normally.

hi Gianluca .. the one mounted on the Oppo Reno 3 version cn is a weakened version of the dimensity 1000 .. in fact it is called dimensity 1000L .. they differ in the maximum frequency of the 4 cores A77 in the dimensity 1000L they reach 2,2 GHz in normal 2,6 GHz and for the g77 GPU cores 7 cores of the L against 9 of normal. as performance there are more than a few comparisons the dimensity 1000L is comparable to the Snap 855+ .. very presumably the normal 1000 is very close to the 865 as well as being superior to it in terms of the integrated modem, it is dual SIM...
