As we have known for several weeks, the next Xiaomi Mi 10 flagship series will be equipped with the new and powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. What we still do not know, however, is when the series will be announced and released on the market.
Xiaomi Mi 10 will be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 865?

Well, today a Chinese leaker seems to have revealed that the arrival on the Qualcomm chipset market is very close. Specifically, he would have said that “The Snapdragon 865 will be released as soon as possible in January. Samsung will not be the first brand to bring it to the market. "
Now, despite the fact that Xiaomi has already announced that it has equipped the next Mi 10 series with the Snapdragon 865, there are a large number of other companies that would have done the same. Let's talk about the just mentioned Samsung (although at this point the record seems gone), the ZTE brand with the next AXON 10S Pro, Oppo with the Find X2, Nubia with Red Devil 5G and Meizu with the 17th generation of its flagship.
That said, Chinese media suggest that the Chinese phone maker closest to presenting a smartphone with the new chipset is Xiaomi. So, according to the same speculations, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro should be presented in January. In our opinion, however, a presentation in January seems unlikely, last year Xiaomi decided to present the Mi 9 series in Barcelona just before the start of MWC 2019 and probably the same strategy will be adopted this year too for greater media coverage.
In any case, according to reports coming from China, together with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865, Xiaomi devices should adopt LPDDR5 type RAM and UFS 3.0 internal memory, therefore the fastest on the market. We will then find super fast cable charging (up to 66W), super fast wireless charging (30W or 40W) and reverse wireless charging up to a power of 10W, to recharge other compatible TWS smartphones or headphones.
