The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra launched in August quickly reached the top of the world with its camera, becoming the first smartphone on the popular DxOMark photo benchmarking platform with a final score of 130 points. That said, the device that went on the market didn't come with the same software that allowed it to dominate the website rankings.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra: New update brings the firmware used by DxOMark
Well, apparently this will no longer be the case as Xiaomi has just released a new update for the Mi 10 Ultra which includes firmware optimized specifically for DxOMark. In particular, it is the MIUI V12.0.10.0 QJJCNXM Stable version. The main updates of this version are the following:
- Camera upgrade to the version used by DXOMARK;
- Optimized battery display;
- Optimize the temperature control strategy for charging;
- Optimizes the problem of shutdown in high temperature conditions;
- Optimize the problem of slow battery activation caused by not using the phone for a long time;
- Optimize the video toolbox dynamic image compensation experience;
- New smooth zoom video mode, enhance video recording experience.
Let's quickly remember that the Xiaomi Mi 10 launched on August 11th is equipped with a 6,67-inch curved OLED panel, a 120Hz refresh rate and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G as a CPU coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS internal memory. 3.1.
One of the strengths of the Xiaomi Mi 10 is (obviously) the photographic sector with a total of five cameras including four on the back. These include the main one with a periscope lens that allows a maximum zoom of 120x, divided into 10x via optical and the rest in a hybrid / digital way and optical stabilization. We then have a 48MP main camera with a size of 1 / 1.32 inches, focal aperture 1 / 1,69 and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) stabilization, then optical stabilization. The secondary camera is an ultra wide angle camera with a resolution of 20MP and finally the third with a resolution of 2MP and a lens for macro photos. For selfies we find instead a 20MP sensor.
Finally, the Mi 10 Ultra adopts a 4500 mAh battery with support for fast charging at a maximum power of 120W via cable, 50W via wireless charging and even 10W in reverse wireless charging mode to charge devices such as TWS Bluetooth headphones.
