While we are waiting for the official presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition, already scheduled for April 27, the Chinese brand continues undaunted to whet our interest by revealing almost daily some of the features that we will find on board the device.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition: The cameras will amaze us with AR and special effects
As you may have already guessed from the title, today we are going to see what new features Xiaomi will bring on the Mi 10 Youth Edition, at least from the photographic point of view.
Let's start with the feature called "AI Magic Avatar". Thanks to this feature that uses a combination of artificial intelligence and AR (augmented reality), it will be possible to take up to 5 images of a moving subject. We can see an example in the image above with the swordsman immortalized in the various positions with a "wake" effect, while in the image below we have another example in which the subject completely changes position to create the effect he is fighting against himself.
In addition to this feature, Xiaomi anticipated what else it will be possible to do with the photographic sector on board the Mi 10 Youth Edition. In particular, it confirmed the presence of a super zoom lens (50x) for taking pictures of subjects in the distance, a telephoto lens for taking portraits, a wide angle (i.e. the ordinary one) and one for macro photos. At the moment it therefore seems that there is no ultra wide angle lens.
Then there will be several effects that Xiaomi calls "magical", such as the one to change the sky in the background and others to add special effects like in action movies. Finally, always thanks to artificial intelligence it will be possible to create professional-level effects in a very simple way. We can see one of these examples in the video just below.
So the smartphone seems to follow what from a certain point of view is its moral predecessor, or the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, known in Italy as Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Device that as we all know had focused everything on the cameras, in fact we found it well five.
Unlike the Mi Note 10, however, we already know that the Mi 10 Youth Edition will be lighter with a weight of less than 200 grams (probably 192g) and thin, with an already confirmed thickness of 7,88mm.
As for the other specifications, these should not differ from the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite presented globally a few weeks ago. This means that we will find a display from 6,57 inches of diagonal and Full HD + resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G as processor, accompanied by at least 6GB of LPDDR4X type RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal memory.
Now we just have to wait a few more days to find out some important details such as the size of the battery and the price (in China).
