Yesterday, our favorite brand, Xiaomi, officially announced the imminent arrival of a new mid-range device that is part of the Mi 10 series, we refer to the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition. Well, today the company showed us all the colors in which the smartphone will be available, as well as some specifications; let's go find out more!
Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition: Confirmed design and colors
Let's start with the colors, which as we can see in the image above are five: Pink Peach, Orange Storm, Green Tea, Blue Berry and Black Storm. Although apparently there will also be an additional sixth limited edition color that is not currently shown to us.
Xiaomi then released for the first time an image of the front of the smartphone that shows us the drop notch. So the fact is confirmed (at least unofficially) that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition is nothing more than a Mi 10 Lite but with a different rear camera. Furthermore, as on its Global equivalent, the Chinese one will also adopt an AMOLED type display which according to Xiaomi data is about 33% thinner than an LCD panel.
Why is it so important? Well, the brand sees the Youth Edition as a lighter and thinner alternative than the Mi 10 flagship, so a thinner screen decreases the total thickness of the smartphone which as we see in the image above is less than 8 millimeters, to be precise 7,88 , 200mm. While the weight should be below 10 grams (the Mi 192 Lite is XNUMXg).
As for the other specifications, we can assume that they are the same as the Mi 10 Lite. This means that the smartphone will equip a display from 6,57 inches of diagonal and Full HD + resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G as processor, accompanied by at least 6GB of LPDDR4X type RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.1 type internal memory. The chipset also supports 5G connectivity, making it the cheapest 5G device of the Xiaomi brand.
Moving on to the photographic sector, here we will find a total of four cameras. In particular we will have a main sensor with 48MP resolution, focal aperture of f / 1.79, 1/2 ″ size and Pixel Binning technology. The second sensor would have 8MP resolution and would be paired with an ultra wide lens, while the third would serve to take macro photos with 5MP resolution. As for the fourth camera, this is the one that will change compared to the global version. So instead of the 2MP depth sensor sensor, we should instead find a telephoto lens with a maximum zoom of 50x. Obviously it will be a hybrid zoom, optical + digital, with the first one that should go up to 5x.
