Although only a week has passed since the presentation of the global versions of the Xiaomi Mi 10 series, new rumors that have just appeared online suggest the imminent arrival of the cheaper cousins, i.e. Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro.
Xiaomi Mi 10T caught in a store, imminent arrival?
Today's leak concerns in particular the basic version of the Mi 10T, which in China was released in December 2019 with the name of Redmi K30 5G. The smartphone we see in the image above equips the exact same specifications as the Redmi mid-ranger, so we have a 6,67-inch diagonal LCD display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, a medium-high-end processor with low energy consumption (about 35%) and better performance (40% more graphically than the previous generation). The CPU also integrates a 5G module to be able to connect the smartphone in dual-mode NSA / SA.
As for the photographic sector, the smartphone adopts the Sony IMX686, with a resolution of 64MP. The sensor is accompanied by an 8MP secondary camera with an ultra wide angle lens, a third with a macro lens and a fourth 2MP depth sensor. There are also several software features usually dedicated to flagships, such as the super night mode which uses photos taken in RAW format instead of YUV to maximize the data captured by the sensor.
Staying on the subject of cameras, in front we find two hidden in the pillar hole on the display at the top right with a resolution of 20MP (normal lens) and 2MP (depth sensor). Although in reality they are two separate holes joined together via software.
Among the other specifications on board the Redmi K30 5G we find fast charging at 30W, which according to the Chinese brand adopts an optimized algorithm to speed up charging even further. We then have a large 4500mAh battery, an NFC module to make electronic payments and a feature called Multi-Link to use the 2.4Ghz / 5Ghz WiFi and 5Ghz and 4G or XNUMXG technologies all at the same time; therefore going at the maximum speed available for download and upload.
As for prices, the Redmi K30 5G in 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory was presented in China with a price of 1999 Yuan, on the € 255, but we expect the Xiaomi Mi 10T to arrive with a price of over the 300 €, as for Xiaomi Mi 9T (introductory price of 329 €).
We conclude with another image from a Chinese store that shows us the compatibility of a smartphone cover. This also suggests that the Redmi K30 and Xiaomi Mi 10T are the exact same device.
I have not yet figured out whether or not this device supports dual frequency for GPS. This Snapdragon should also support it but I have not found any confirmation yet.
