Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite Global and Gauguin: the mystery revealed

A confusion as always given that there are many variants of the same device. In reality, if we think about it, these are not variants but different models. If we take into consideration the 10 series from Xiaomi, the last of the flagships to be clear, we see that the versions officially released on the market are two: standard and Pro. The version will be released soon 10T and 10T Pro: these two, however, are completely different smartphones, both in terms of aesthetics and features (some at least). Now it turns out that there is one too Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite: confirmation comes from certifications.

Surprise of surprises: the existence of Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite it had been under our noses for a long time, precisely since last July. In fact, we named two devices at the time, namely Apollo e Gauguin. We have no news of the first, while the second is rumored to be the Lite version mentioned above. Let's go back looking at the certifications and lines of code discovered by the XDA team some time ago.

Here we saw the name Gauguin, along with that of Gauguin Pro, appearing for the first time a few months ago. Today, however, through certification FCCID we learn that Gauguin is none other than Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite (M2007J17G) or the Global variant of the smartphone we were talking about this morning. For the moment let's leave Gauguin Pro aside: we don't have enough material to talk about him.

But what will this Lite model consist of? Second DEIK by XDA, the Global model will not be equipped with a 108 megapixel camera, but a 64 megapixel one. The 108 one we were talking about this morning will most likely be the Chinese version that will be launched under the Redmi brand. We come to think at this point that it is Redmi Note 10 or 10 Pro.

Ultimately the situation is that for which the branch Global enviroment can count on three devices / versions: 10T, 10T Pro e 10T Lite. In all, therefore, if we were to count all the members of the Mi 10 Family, we find 5 models. Many, perhaps too many. As always, we thank the Spanish colleagues of Xiaomiadictos.
