With the next Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro that inexorably approaches the launch in the first months of 2021, the rumors about it become more and more detailed. As you may have already guessed from the title, today's one has to do with the photographic sector that we will find on board the device; let's go find out more!
Leak: Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will adopt a 50MP camera
The news was leaked by the usual Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station which once again delights us with a very juicy leak. According to him, in fact, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will equip a 50MP main camera, instead of a 108MP one as we have instead seen on board the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. Some may see it as a step backwards, but remember that the number of pixels does not correspond to the image quality, so technically we can have better results with a 50MP sensor than a 108MP one. Much more important factors than the resolution are the physical size of the sensor, the focal aperture of the lens and the software that manages everything.
In any case, according to Digital Chat Station, the Mi 11 Pro will have a second telephoto camera that can take photos at a resolution of 12MP. However, the leakster isn't sure whether it's a 12MP sensor or a 48MP one that uses 4-in-1 pixel binning technology.
The photographic sector just mentioned will only be on the Pro version, while the standard one will see different and not yet known specifications.
As for the rest of the hardware, like any self-respecting flagship, the Mi 11 series will equip Qualcomm's next Snapdragon 875, coupled with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
The screen will also be uncompromising with an AMOLED panel that adopts a resolution of 3200 × 1440 pixels and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz (the Mi 10 Pro was only 90Hz.
