As already confirmed by the brand, the new Xiaomi Mi 11 series will be officially released on December 28, but this does not mean that the rumors about it have already ended.
Xiaomi Mi 11: Exclusivity on Snapdragon 888 confirmed, at least 1 million units in the first 2 months
The famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station has in fact recently revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will not have any stock problems, with the brand that has already planned the large-scale production of millions of terminals. This is also thanks to the fact that Xiaomi has signed an agreement with the American chip maker, Qualcomm, to take advantage of a period of exclusivity on the supply of the Snapdragon 888 CPU for the first two months. The Mi 11 series will therefore be the only mass produced before the Spring Festival in China, scheduled for February 12.
After reading the leak just mentioned, several users asked Redmi product director Wang Teng to verify the authenticity of the news. Well, Wang Teng gave a positive answer, indicating that the first Xiaomi Mi 11 stocks are actually on the order of one million. Also confirming that this will be the only Snapdragon supply in large quantities before the Spring Festival.
It is worth noting that Pan Jiutang, partner of Xiaomi Industry Investment Department, has hinted that the Xiaomi Mi 11 could be more expensive than usual. A price increase (in China) would make it go above the threshold (never exceeded for the standard version) of 4000 yuan, or about 500 euros at the current exchange rate. Becoming the most expensive flagship of the Chinese manufacturer, it always means for the standard version.
As for the smartphone itself, we remind you that in addition to arriving with the new Snapdragon 888, the Xiaomi Mi 11 will also be very advanced from the point of view of the WiFi 6 connection. The brand has indeed communicated that this new version of the technology sees a width Double the bandwidth compared to the previous generation, with 20% increased transmission information density and 2,1x faster final network speed (up to 3,5 Gbps).
