With the Xiaomi Mi 11 already on the market, its future older brother, the Mi 11 Ultra, is increasingly in the spotlight with leaks that follow one another almost daily.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will have a 50MP camera: here is the proof
Today's leak comes from the Indian blogger Abhishek Yadav, who would have found some very interesting info within the MIUI camera app.
As we can see in the screenshot above, in fact, the “module_name_pixel_50m” code would be present within an application version. According to the leakster, this is proof that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will use a 50MP camera.
This could be seen as a step backwards compared to the Xiaomi Mi 11 which instead adopts a 108MP camera, but we remember that the resolution is not the only factor to be evaluated in the photographic sector of a smartphone (or in general).
The physical size of the sensor is definitely more important, and what we are going to find on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra should have a larger surface, unless there are surprises. Clearly there are other factors such as the lens focal aperture and software optimization, which hopefully are similar on both devices.
In any case, the image sensor should be the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GN2 50MP with 1.4μm large pixels and a size of 1 / 1.12 ″. This sensor could be accompanied by a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Let's not forget that leaks also suggest the presence of a secondary display for taking high-level selfies.
As for the other specs, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is expected to sport a 6,8-inch OLED screen that offers WQHD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will be curved and will have a hole for the front camera which should have a 20 megapixel resolution. Obviously the fingerprint sensor on the screen will not be missing and we will also find the Gorilla Glass Victus glass protection.
