Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11i official in Italy: prices starting from € 549,90

After announcing them about a month ago, the Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has just formalized the arrival in our country of the new Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11i. As some of you may already know, the former is the most premium (and expensive) flagship released by the brand, while the latter should bring top-of-the-range performance at a competitive price.

So let's start with the prices and release dates of both devices starting with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra which will be available for purchase from tomorrow, Wednesday 5 May, at a price of 1399,9 euros and will only be available in the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The smartphone will go on sale both on the official Mi.com and Mi Store Italia stores and with TIM at the starting price of 29 euros per month. While those who buy it within the first 48 hours can have it for "only" 1199,9 euros.

The Xiaomi Mi 11i will also be available starting tomorrow at the starting price of 649,90 euros for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and 699,90 euros for the 8GB / 256GB one. Price that drops to € 549,90 for 8GB / 128GB in the first 48 hours. From 10 to 16 May instead, with both versions you will receive a Xiaomi Mi Smart Speaker for free.

As for the specifications, these remain unchanged from what we saw a month ago.

We therefore have the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra which arrives with a 6.81 inch AMOLED display, with 2K resolution, a brightness of 1500nit and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen integrates a 20MP front camera in a hole in the upper left.

Moving on to the back, the Mi 11 Ultra adopts three cameras in total with the main one equipping Samsung's ISOCELL Bright GN2 sensor with a resolution of 50MP, an ultra wide camera with a 586MP Sony IMX48 sensor and finally a periscope lens always with a Sony sensor. 586MP IMX48 and maximum zoom of 120X. All three cameras support 8K ultra definition shooting for unprecedented choice and overall image quality improvement. 

This photographic sector has allowed the smartphone to go to the top of the ranking of the famous DxOMark platform with a score of 143 points.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is then powered by the performing Snapdragon 888 as a CPU with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of ultra-fast internal memory. While in terms of autonomy, the device integrates a 5000mAh battery that can be recharged at a maximum power of 67W via cable and 67W wirelessly.

Moving on to the Xiaomi Mi 11i, which as some of you will remember is actually a rebrand of the Redmi K40 Pro +.

The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with E4 technology and a refresh rate of 120Hz, while the touch sampling rate reaches 360Hz. Inside the display we also find one of the smaller holes for the front camera which has a diameter of 2,76mm, while the lower edge has a height of 3,3mm.

For photography, the Xiaomi Mi 11i adopts a 108MP main camera. In particular, this is the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HM2 sensor, coupled to a lens with a focal aperture of f / 1.52, 9 in 1 pixel binning technology, dual native ISO and Super Night Scene 2.

The 108MP sensor is then coupled to an ultra wide camera with an 8MP resolution and one for taking 5MP macro photos. Selfies can instead be taken by a 20MP front camera.

As for performance, we will find the latest Snapdragon 888, the best performing mobile SoC in the world, always supported by LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 internal memory and WiFi 6 Enhanced technology which is technically even faster than WiFi 6. standard.

Finally, the Xiaomi Mi 11i is powered by a 4520mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Among the other features we find the Dual Bluetooth technology to connect at the same time and create an excellent stereo effect, NFC and dual-frequency GPS and infrared ray emitter.
