We're all on edge for the launch of Xiaomi Mi 11, the next flagship device heir to Mi 10. The hype is skyrocketing and after a (unfounded) tip by a well-known site we learned that the device would have debuted on December 29th. As we said on the same day as this tip, the date was not official and in fact it is not even true. As revealed by the brand itself with the event invitations, the expected smartphone will debut on 28th December, one day earlier than "expected".
Before New Year's Eve, on December 28th, Xiaomi Mi 11 will make its first appearance in China revealing all about design and specifications
I do not hide it: personally I am not in the skin but there is a bit of disappointment. To introduce two top-of-the-range smartphones in the same year it is not really a wise choice nor a correct one. But if we think about it, Xiaomi Mi 11 in the Global version will arrive in Europe and Italy much later than in China. Possibly between January and February the company could decide to export it so that a year passes in earnest. But let's see the official presentation date.
As can be seen from the digital invitations sent to several Chinese bloggers, the date of official presentation of Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro will be on December 28, 2020 and not on the 29th. The event will start at 13.30 (Chinese time) with the check in of the guests; after 14.30 (always Chinese date) it will be open on official forum where bloggers and users can ask questions to brand executives; at 18.30 it will be dinner served and finally at 19.30 it will be the moment that everyone is waiting for: the presentation of the device. It is worth mentioning that to date NO official news about design and specifications has leaked. Consequently, it is possible that everything we know to date (or almost everything) is unfounded. We just have to wait.
