The life of a smartphone is relatively short and so even a year after the launch of Mi 5X, Xiaomi is thinking of pulling out a worthy successor, namely the Mi 6X. Recall that Mi 5X is the basis of the Mi A1 smartphone, the company's first device to embrace the Google Android One project, so it is plausible to think that Mi 6X will be the starting point for the Mi A2 with which it will share, hardware and design with the exception of the operating system which therefore will be based on Android One.

That said after appearing on the TENAA database, also the technical specifications of Xiaomi Mi 6X / Mi A2 are disseminated online. In fact, from the image below we can see that we will have a Full HD + display from 5,99 inches of type IPS with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution, probably the same seen on Redmi 5 and Redmi Note 5 (Pro) in format 18:9. We will also find a Qualcomm model processor Snapdragon 626 with clock frequency at 2.2 GHz, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory.
The presence of one is confirmed double camera on the back just like the predecessor, but this time the main optical unit will have resolution from 20 megapixel with f / 2.0 aperture while the secondary sensor will have a resolution equal to 8 megapixel with f / 1.8 aperture in addition to dual LED dual tone flash. Phase detection autofocus is provided PDAF and optical imagery stabilizer (OIS), while the selfie camera will have 20 megapixel resolution and f / 2.0 aperture, but there is no mention on the support or not of AI technology.
Una battery from 2910 mAh will power the Mi 6X e smartphone Android Oreo 8.1 will handle all the operations offered by the software: MIUI for Mi 6X and Android One for Mi A2. In terms of size, the thickness of 7,3 mm and weight of 165 grams but all the leaked rumors seem to coincide with what TENAA has shown in its databases.
