The first examples of Xiaomi Mi 8 are starting to appear in Italy too, and the curiosity is so great by virtue of the technical characteristics that this new device has to offer its users. Definitely the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 it will be unexceptionable, but what arouses concerns, is the battery which has a capacity of 3400 mAh, practically the same as Mi 6 which had a 3350 mAh unit, and which also combined with a display AMOLED from 6,21 inches, the 50 mAh does not seem to be that many. And it does it in the simplest and most direct way it could use, that is posting the results of the battery drain of the Mi 8 to which he adds that every night the remaining charge is about 30 / 40%. From the test it also seems that Lei Jun has come to have an 18% of residual charge with a use of about 1 day, 10 hours, 44 minutes and 57 seconds, so over 34 hours, in which it is clear, however, that in the initial part of the test the discharge is decidedly less consistent, therefore conceivable for a nighttime standby.

Lei Jun also adds that it has used both Xiaomi Mi 8 and WiFi connectivity 4G and to awaken the display very often, and therefore with very short ignition rates. Of course it must be considered that the autonomy is definitely good if compared to the use that a business man can make of a smartphone, hypothesized to consistent calls, exchange of emails and various messages and short internet consultations.
