Despite the two bombs (in a positive sense) pulled out of Xiaomi, such as Mi 9T and the CC9 / CC9e series, the users' favorite remains the Mi 9, the flagship of the Chinese company that can only be beaten by the launch of the future Mi Mix 4 or by his successor Mi 10 (if ever the name will be). And after the abandonment of the development of Beta ROMs, the MIUI team seems to have concentrated their forces precisely on the company's top range.
In fact there will be ten new features that will enrich the experience of using our beloved Mi 9, 10, some derived from the recent Xiaomi Mi CC9 and others decidedly new generation. Let's find out then together.

- Timer mode for panoramic selfies: thanks to a special algorithm it is possible to create panoramic selfies, perfect for very large groups, without creating distortions.
- Spiral Clock for Always On Display: for users who love the AOD mode there is now a new option, with a clock with a spiral background, with a very special effect.
- 3D Smart gesture: it's about a function that we thought came on MIUI 11 and that instead is already available on the future update for Mi 9. In practice we could launch some applications by making gestures in the air.
- Mimoji: one of the novelties derived from Xiaomi Mi CC9, with decidedly advanced functions compared to the old Mimoji that now seem look very much like those seen on iPhone.
- Sky replacement filter: this is also a function that was introduced on the new CC9 series. In practice we could through it change the sky present in our photographs, applying a series of preset filters.
- Support for NFC Bus Cards: this function will be decidedly useless in our latitudes, as it is thought rather for the motherland of China. In this case the function is enriched with support for a greater number of cities, well 256, with 17 different cards.
- Xiao Ai Garbage Classification: function that allows users to understand if they are disposing of waste properly. Without making political controversy, I would say that this is a function that is difficult to use in Italy.
- Increased frame rate: Xiaomi Mi 9 will support an 60 fps frame rate, with improved graphics on challenging games like Fortnite.
- Android Q: could not miss the introduction of the new OS branded Google, although for the final release we should perhaps wait until the end of the year.
- Activities in Notes: also the Note app is renewed, this time with the possibility of adding the tasks (Tasks) with lots of related reminders, which can be deactivated but also postponed in the case of other commitments or for other reasons. You will be able to mark an activity as completed or hide it once completed.
