A few days ago we had reported of the certification by Google of a terminal very similar, if not exactly the same, to the Xiaomi Mi CC9 presented in China at the beginning of July. The smartphone mainly dedicated to young people with a passion for photography has instead appeared today on the site of an Asian certification body, in fact confirming its arrival in the world market under the name of Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite.
EXCLUSIVE: Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite officially certified in Asia
As we can see in the image above in fact, a device with code name M1904F3BG that as we have learned here it seems to be a version of the Mi CC9, it has just been certified online as Mi 9 Lite and not Mi A3 Pro, disproving many rumors that appeared previously online.
From the certification we are not able to extrapolate a lot of data if not the fact that it has been approved to work on GSM, WCDMA and LTE networks, and the different frequencies to which it will operate. In particular we can understand that the smartphone will support the bands: B1 (2100), B3 (1800), B7 (2600) and B20 (800) as far as the 4G is concerned.
It would therefore seem official the arrival of a new member in the already large family of Mi 9 outside of China.
All other features should instead remain unchanged from the Chinese version. We will therefore find a 6,39-inch AMOLED screen for a screen-to-body ratio of 91% and with an underlying seventh generation fingerprint sensor (like the one on the Xiaomi Mi 9T and 9T Pro).
Under the body we have instead a good Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, assisted by 6GB and 64GB 128GB internal memory. While for the photographic sector we find three rear sensors from 48MP (Sony IMX582 sensor) and wide angle lens, an 8MP sensor with ultra wide lens and a depth sensor from 2MP. For selfies we have a front camera with 32MP resolution instead.
Finally, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite will be powered by a large 4030mAh battery with fast 18W charging for a fairly low total weight of 179 grams and 8,67mm thickness. There is no shortage of NFC chips, 3.5mm audio jack and infrared ray emitter.
