At the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi A3 of late July, many were disappointed as the Android One version of the was expected Xiaomi CC9 presented in China a few weeks before. The A3 Mi then turned out to be the global version with Android stock of the least performing and / or interesting Xiaomi CC9e.
Well, today comes news from China that could make the admirers of the most advanced of the two terminals, the CC9, rejoice. The smartphone would indeed be ready for the international market to enter, but under another name; let's find out which one!
Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite coming, will be the Global version of the Mi CC9
As you probably already understood from the title, we are talking about a possible Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite, which would be added to the array of devices that refer to the name of the Xiaomi flagship for the 2019, or the Mi 9. Let's talk about the various Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Mi 9T, Mi 9T Pro and the already talked about Xiaomi Mi 9S 5G coming in the next few weeks.
In any case, the Mi 9 Lite should bring all the features of CC9 to the global market and with ROM MIUI. The specifications would remain unchanged and therefore we will find an 6,39-inch AMOLED screen for a screen-to-body ratio of the 91% and with a seventh-generation underlying fingerprint sensor (like the one on the Xiaomi Mi 9T and 9T Pro).
To run the device we think a good Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, assisted by 6GB and 64GB to 128GB internal memory. While for the photographic sector we find three rear sensors from 48MP (Sony IMX582 sensor) and wide angle lens, an 8MP sensor with ultra wide lens and a depth sensor from 2MP. For selfies we have a front camera with 32MP resolution instead.
Finally, the smartphone is powered by a large 4030mAh battery with fast 18W charging for a fairly low total weight of 179 grams and 8,67mm thickness. There is no shortage of NFC chips, 3.5mm audio jack and infrared ray emitter.
As for prices, the Xiaomi CC9 was launched in China at 1799 Yuan (228 €) for 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory and 1999 Yuan (253 €) for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Obviously the prices will see price increases once the device is announced in the global version under the name of Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite.
Finally, the presentation date has not yet been announced, but if the rumors are confirmed, the smartphone should be unveiled in the coming weeks.
